Who we are
BrandBased is a digital marketing agency operating remotely across the United States. For anything relating to this policy, contact us at hello@brndbased.com.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you email us or submit an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, phone number where you provide it, and whatever you write to us.
- Information collected automatically. Standard technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and time spent on the site.
- Advertising and analytics identifiers. Cookies and similar technologies set by the services listed below.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal information such as government identifiers, financial account numbers or health information.
Advertising and analytics
We advertise on Meta and Google, and we measure the results. That means the following third parties may set cookies or receive data about your visit:
- Meta Platforms — the Meta Pixel and conversions API, to measure and target advertising.
- Google — Google Ads conversion tracking and Google Analytics, to measure advertising and site usage.
These services process data under their own privacy policies. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Meta’s ad settings, Google’s ad settings, or industry tools such as the DAA opt-out. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.
- To operate, secure and improve the site.
- To measure whether our advertising is working, and to reach people likely to be interested in it.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf — website hosting, email, analytics, advertising platforms and our CRM — and only as far as they need it to do that work. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Technical and analytics data is kept for a shorter period as set by the platforms above. When we no longer need information, we delete it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email hello@brndbased.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
